Heavenly Village Summer Concert Series
This series started 12 years ago from a spontaneous concert and now it’s the largest summer concert series in the Lake Tahoe Basin. It was originally just 5 shows that first summer and now it is over 40 performances. The full series runs every Friday and Saturday night from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of September, concluding with the Fall AleFest & Chicken Wing Cook-Off, a marquee weekend that wraps up summer with craft beer, live music, and serious flavor. The concerts take place every Friday and Saturday evening, running from 5:45 PM to 9:15 PM.
The main Heavenly Village Summer Concert Series stage is now located between Gunbarrel Tavern and Fire & Ice, a space specifically designed to accommodate larger acts. Some of them include 4 to 12 members and travel across the country to perform.
”Beyond the Summer Series, live music is part of our DNA at the Village. We host entertainment 365 days a year across three independent venues: Basecamp Pizza, Azul Latin Kitchen, GunBarrel Tavern, Fire and Ice, The Loft and California Burger. These smaller shows complement the large weekend series and ensure visitors experience live music no matter the season,” Dreu Murin (of Dreu Murin’s Productions) explained.
