Kevin MacMillan has served as editor of Tahoe Magazine since 2011. Additionally, he serves as editor for the Northern Nevada Business View, Healthy Beginnings and First Nation’s Focus publications based in Reno. He’s also the former managing editor (2009-2016) of the Sierra Sun and North Lake Tahoe Bonanza newspapers. Kevin lives in downtown Reno with his girlfriend and their two cats, Henry Jones and Indiana Jones.
Kaleb M. Roedel
Kaleb M. Roedel, a former recreation and entertainment reporter for the Sierra Sun, is a special assignments reporter for the Sierra Nevada Media Group and associate editor of Tahoe Magazine. The Wisconsin native, who migrated to Reno in the summer of 2015, enjoys the NBA, playing guitar and quoting “Seinfeld.”
Claire Cudahy is a former special assignments reporter for the Sierra Nevada Media Group and associate editor of Tahoe Magazine. This Kansas transplant fell in love with the West early on and can be found out on the trails with a camera and her dog when she’s not typing away at a keyboard.
Ryan Hoffman is the editor at the Tahoe Daily Tribune. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he has steadily made his way west. Outside of work and being a news junkie, Ryan enjoys hiking and kayaking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. Ryan lives in South Lake Tahoe with his girlfriend and their overweight cat.
Chris Talbot has been a Lake Tahoe local since 1977, and a professional travel photographer since 1992. He spends his time photographing resorts and culture all over the world, although the best part of every shoot is coming home to Lake Tahoe. Kayla Anderson moved to North Lake Tahoe in December 2006 to be a snowboard bum and never left. With over 12 years of experience in marketing and journalism, Kayla enjoys sharing about what is happening in her tight-knit community and is eternally grateful for being able to reside in a place like Lake Tahoe.
Joan Wharton was a commercial litigator on the East Coast for 15 years before moving to Lake Tahoe with her husband in late 2014. Now a South Lake Tahoe-based writer and photographer, she loves getting out as often as possible to hike, mountain bike, ski, and snowshoe in the Tahoe area.
Dylan Silver is a Northern California-based writer and photographer. He’s a former reporter for the Tahoe Daily Tribune and longtime contributor to Tahoe Magazine who regularly covers outdoor recreation for several magazines and websites. When he’s not writing and shooting, he’s generally on top of a mountain or underwater.
